Stop #11 keeps the Reading Rocking Rainbow Tour in New York, rocking and rolling at C’mon Everybody in Brooklyn.

“Uncovering the 90’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Like, Whatever” is an interactive discussion led by Venice Beach writer/drummer Jessamyn Violet from behind her drum kit. She’ll read from her debut LGBT+ novel set in the 90s Hollywood music scene, SECRET RULES TO BEING A ROCKSTAR, and discuss the dangers and joys of growing up in the casual, funny and totally weird nineties with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Camille Perri.

Immediately following is a set from internationally-acclaimed psych rock duo Movie Club, featuring Jessamyn on drums and Vince Cuneo on guitar, with some very special local guests. Camille and Jessamyn will also be doing formal book signings at the event. Event is 21+.
