Stop #10 brings the Reading Rocking Rainbow Tour to New York, rocking out at the the Bitter End.

“Uncovering the 90’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Like, Whatever” is an interactive discussion led by Venice Beach writer/drummer Jessamyn Violet from behind her drum kit. She’ll read from her debut YA novel set in the 90s Hollywood music scene, SECRET RULES TO BEING A ROCKSTAR, and discuss the dangers and joys of growing up in the casual, funny and totally weird nineties with her book’s editor and publisher, Kat Georges.

Immediately following is a set from internationally-acclaimed psych rock duo Movie Club, featuring Jessamyn on drums and Vince Cuneo on guitar, featuring some very special local guests. Jessamyn will also be doing a formal book signing at the end of the event.
