Please join the Writers House in welcoming young adult novelist Meagan Brothers and recent alumni Constance Renfrow and Rachel Gold for a reading for conversation about YA literature and working in publishing.
Meagan Brothers is the author of three novels for young adults, includingWeird Girl and What’s His Name, which was recently named one of the Best Teen Books of 2015 by the Kirkus Review. Her poetry has appeared most recently in Before Passing, a Great Weather for Media anthology, for which she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
Constance Renfrow is the lead editor for Three Rooms Press, where she edited Meagan Brothers’s Weird Girl and What’s His Name and Songs of My Selfie: An Anthology of Millennial Stories, including works by fellow F&M grads. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in such places as Cabildo Quarterly, Denim Skin, Petrichor Machine and Two Cities Review and she is a regular columnist on DIY MFA.
Rachel Gold graduated from Franklin & Marshall in 2012. After gradiation, she worked as a media consultant at Three Rooms Press, where she had the honor of working with Meagan Brothers on the publicity for Weird Girl And What’s His Name. Rachel is currently getting her MFA in creative writing fiction at Sarah Lawrence College and will be graduating this May.
