3RP at ALA 2025 in Philadelphia, June 27-29
by Kat Georges
Librarians are on the front lines of the culture wars, and we are grateful for their support of the kinds of books Three Rooms Press publishes. Each year, the American Library Association hosts an annual conference that attracts from 20,000 to 30,000 librarians and their associates.
This year, the ALA Annual was in Philadelphia, and, between cheesesteaks (lol, the last “s” is intentional), 3RP co-directors Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges introduced forthcoming and recent books, discussed strategies librarians are taking to counter the clampdown on diverse reads, and hosted 4 author signings.
Below are some of our favorite photos from the conference. Thanks to Christy Beattie and Celia Mattison from Ingram for all their help in making this such a success.
