Happy 30th Anniversary to Three Rooms Press! 3RP was born when co-directors Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges published our first 3RP book, The I Can’t ‘O Cantos in early 1994. Since then we have published 128 titles, including 13 poetry chapbooks, 113 full length books and a couple special projects, including our latest titles, My Vietnam, Your Vietnam by Christina Vo and Nghia M. Vo, and Under a Neon Sun the debut novel of acclaimed poet and publisher Kate Gale, plus our forthcoming MAINTENANT 18 dada journal.

We’ve worked with incredible authors, poets, editors, artists, musicians, and photographers from every continent on the planet—including Antarctica. Our books have earned top awards worldwide for excellence in literary fiction, mystery, science fiction, memoir, young adult fiction, and poetry.

Special thanks to the booksellers, librarians, and distributors that we’ve worked with over the years, who are such huge supporters of our fiercely independent press.

Throughout the remainder of 2024 and into early 2025, we will celebrate three decades of publishing achievements with special events highlighting the work we’ve done and our continued commitment to finding and publishing extraordinary literature.
