Christina grew up in the US, but a sense of isolation led her to work in Hanoi and Saigon in search of connection and resolution of her inherited trauma. The memoir integrates the memories of father and daughter within themes such as “Departure / Arrival,” “The Journey,” and “Reeducation / Repatriation.” The writing is captivating, making this memoir a page turner you won’t want to put down.

MAINTENANT 18: A Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art
