On September 7, our 10th annual LA-DI-DADA event at the remarkable Beyond Baroque in Venice, California kicked off an epic international tour of Dada salons/launch events for MAINTENANT 17: A Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and art.

Sixteen Dada superstars from the LA area joined 3RP co-directors Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges for an extraordinary evening that celebrated what’s happening now in the world of dada. The event also served as a tribute to two key figures in the LA dada poetry/performance art scene: Linda J. Albertano and Doug Knott. Performers included Mahnaz Badhian, Mona Jean Cedar, Allison Davis, Rich Ferguson, Christian Georgescu, S.A. Griffin, Mark Hoefer, Bibiana Padilla Maltos, Brownyn Mauldin, Richard Modiano, Mike M. Mollett, Harry E. Northup, Travis Richardson, Neal Skooter Taylor, Silvia Wagensberg and Daniel Yaryan.
