Today is the day! It’s time for the cover reveal for our upcoming edition of MAINTENANT, the leading journal of contemporary dada art and writing.

The new cover perfectly captures this year’s theme of PEACEFIRE, a call against a never ending war and the peace we wish to come. Submissions are open until March 15th, 2023.

“CHILD UNDER BOMBS” (70 cm x 100 cm, Acrylic on Canvas, 2022) is created by Uta Kaxniashvili, a painter from Tbilisi, Georgia. His piece comes as a commentary on those displaced by war and the suffering of our most vulnerable in these times. Follow Kaxniashvili’s work on Facebook.

Three Rooms Press publishes an annual, internationally-renowned journal of contemporary DADA writing and art, MAINTENTANT. The submission period for our next issue, MAINTENANT 17, runs from January 1, 2023 through March 15, 2024.

MAINTENANT 17: A Journal of Contemporary DADA Writing and Art, will include DADA work inspired by the theme PEACEFIRE. When a War ends provisionally, the agreement is called a ceasefire. But when Peace ends, there is only War. Ultimately, though: When was there ever really Peace? War and Peace are Co-dependent.
