“I’ve changed so much since I started writing,” he said. “It’s almost funny how I can take interest in many topics, even ones that I used to find insane, because I think about how I can capture that in the fantasy world of Elkloria.”

As for other aspiring writers with dreams of being published, Borah offered some advice: “Don’t write the book for fame or money. Write the book for the book. Put your heart into it, not your ambition.”
