The event takes place live on Facebook at the Three Roooms Press Group page (facebook.com/groups/ThreeRoomsPress). The launch will include readings from some of the diverse authors of the book, including Peter Carlaftes, Chrisopher Chambers, Angel Luis Colón, Adam Lance Garcia, Alison Gaylin, S. J. Rozan and Alex Segura.

ABOUT THE BOOK–
THE FAKING OF THE PRESIDENT is fiction, so far. With a humorous nod to “fake news” in today’s political landscape, nineteen award-winning, diverse authors offer new stories of past presidential antics in a unique act of creative resistance that confirms absolute power absolutely corrupts, and openly wonders how far down the rabbit hole the American presidency can go.
Inside the book:
- Nixon takes a covert psychedelic trip with Elvis, and—years later—realizes he has it on tape
- Clinton and an illegitimate son embark on an action-packed adventure set to jazz
- G.W. Bush reveals how he really won the 2000 election
- …and so much more!
HIGH PRAISE FOR THE FAKING OF THE PRESIDENT:
“Many of the 19 speculative stories in this highly entertaining anthology show U.S. presidents behaving badly, some with the same impunity as the current occupant of the White House. … Fans of alternate history will have fun. This is the perfect diversion for those seeking a break from the more serious aspects of the election season.” ―Publishers Weekly
“One of the strangest, most exhilarating rides you’ll take in noir this year…Editor Peter Carlaftes brings together a talented group of contemporary noir luminaries, each author offering a unique vision of executive excess and intrigue.” —CrimeReads
