Three Rooms Press had a blast hosting the 13th Annual Charles Bukowski Memorial Reading, which took place on Thursday, February 20th at Le Poisson Rouge. It was attended by a full house and an all-star cast of readers, including Richard Vetere, Andrei Codrescu, Puma Perl, Jennifer Blowdryer, Michael Puzzo, and George Wallace, with audience participants gracing the stage as well. The event, hosted by our co-directors Kat Georges and Peter Carlaftes, included captivating readings of favorite Bukowski poems interspersed with giveaways of Bukowski photos, DVDs, CDs, and books. A huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the great writer with us, and for those of you who didn’t make it, there is always next year!
