More Awards for Recent Three Rooms Press Titles!
We’re proud to announce that three of our books have recently been honored with awards and nominations:
DON’T HIDE THE MADNESS won the bronze prize for best non-fiction cover from the Independent Publisher Book Awards. The cover features an image of William S. Burrough and Allen Ginsburg—specifically commissioned for this book—by famed illustrator Robert Crumb.
TWO stories from FLORIDA HAPPENS are award nominees:
- A Postcard from the Dead by Susanna Calkins has been nominated for an Agatha Award (named for Agatha Christie, this award honors traditional mystery stories).
- The Case of the Missing Pot Roast by Barb Goffman is a 2019 Derringer Award Finalist (named for the popular pocket pistol, this award is given by the Short Mystery Fiction Society to outstanding stories) for Best Long Story.
Julia Watts’ QUIVER has also been honored. QUIVER is included in the Young Adult Library Services Association’s Rainbow Book List for Young Adult Fiction.
Plus, we’re still aglow over the news that two 3RP books are finalists for Foreword Indies. Robert Silverberg’s TIME AND TIME AGAIN is a finalist for Best Science Fiction and Watts’ QUIVER is a finalist for Young Adult Fiction.
Congratulations to all our authors!
