Three Rooms Press now casting for “The Old In and Out” at Stage Left Studio Theater June 14-22
Three Rooms Press is excited to announce that it will be producing the New York Premiere of Off-Off Broadway production “The Old In and Out,” a play by well-known New York-based poets Madeline Artenberg and Karen Hildebrand, and directed by Three Rooms Press co-director Kat Georges. The play runs June 14-22 at Stage Left Studio Theater on W. 30th Street in Manhattan.
What happens when young newlyweds in the era of “free love” realize that “happily ever after” is the last thing they want? “The Old In & Out” tells the story of four women and their cross-country quests to discover themselves.
Auditions are being scheduled now. Go here for details on how to set up an appointment.
A preview version of the drama, featured the authors in the lead roles, played to a sold-out house at the Bowery Poetry Club in 2009. The play has been expanded significantly and now features four women on an emotionally powerful journey filled with sly wit and poignant honesty, moving in and out of the dark and the light.
